Today was a cold and windy day. With the three kidlets cooped up in the house for way too long I was desperate brainstorming ways to
keep my sanity entertain my kiddos. There was word of #HodRodFuller making a visit to the Bentonville and Rogers Wal-Marts to show off his car and so I knew where we could head. We loaded up and made the short drive to Bentonville to meet ole' Hot Rod.
We found #HodRodFuller inside the store standing next to his extremely impressive drag racer. I tried to convince Isaiah to take a picture with him, but Isaiah (in Toadyfashions) refused. I encouraged, "check out those huge wheels!" He countered with, "I don't care." I prodded, "Isaiah look at how BIG that car is!" He responded with, "nope... I wanna go." I knew the truth. Isaiah was excited out of his mind (as he had been bugging me about the trip alllllll day) and in front of the real-deal-hot-rod, Isaiah had become shy. We met the DiGiorno Pizza dudes who were handing out samples and chances to win DiGiorno pizza.
We even got to meet Matt Miller from the 98.3 The Keg.
I whisked Isaiah away for a quick jaunt around the store- in hopes his nerves would be restored to his regular "never met a stranger" demeanor.
After grabbing a few items from our favorite aisle, Isaiah was ready for his second chance. He played it cool and stood back in the crowd until #HotRodFuller noticed him. In the end Isaiah got his autograph. I would post a picture of Isaiah with his autograph, but he won't let anyone touch it...
If you'd like to meet NHRA Race Car Driver Hot Rod Fuller, see his Dragster, and even have a chance to win some fantastic DiGiorno pizza, head over to the Wal-Mart on Pleasant Crossing tomorrow or check out CollectiveBias.com for more details!
It was so impressive to me how kind and polite Hot Rod Fuller was, he had great manners and seemed so appreciative of each person who wanted a picture or autograph. His manners were a great example to my kiddo! We had a great time meeting Hot Rod! If you are in the NW Arkansas area tomorrow. Stop by and see Mr. Fuller and the DiGiorno guys!
